Meeting the team from Black Cat IT Support

A quick hello from the Canterbury Business Show — and a tip of the hat to the people who keep the kettle of Kent business actually boiling.

Good morning from the Canterbury Business Show. Five minutes in and we were already shaking hands with Joe from Black Cat IT Support — one of the most welcome neighbours in Kent business IT.

If you run a small or mid-sized business in Medway or wider Kent, you almost certainly know the pattern: something breaks, work stops, and you need someone who picks up the phone, knows your setup, and gets you back up in minutes — not the next available Tuesday. Black Cat IT Support are exactly that kind of outfit. They look after the day-to-day for civil engineers, dental practices, accountants, solicitors and the rest — the businesses that quietly run the local economy.

It is also a useful counterweight to the AI-everything noise. AI agents are powerful, but they sit on top of a working IT estate — laptops that boot, email that delivers, backups that actually backed up. The strongest AI rollout in the world goes nowhere if the underlying infrastructure is on its knees. That is the layer Black Cat owns, and it is the layer NordSys is happy to recommend you sort out first.

Lovely to bump into you Joe — see you again on the circuit.
